High school sweethearts, a lamb called Frikkie and best friends who found a forever love. It's the love story that movies are made of. Here is this month's featured Stella Couple, Andrea and Jacques with their special story.
“Jacques and I met when I was 14 years old and in grade 8. He is 3 years older than me, so at the time he was grade 11. I was the score keeper for their cricket team when we met and a few weeks later we became best friends and 6 months later we started dating. We've been dating ever since and we've been together for 7 years.
Within the 1st year of knowing Jacques I was absolutely sure that he was the ONE and everything about him made me feel safe, loved, cherished and blessed. He's my absolute best friend ever.
As for the fact that we've been dating for 7 years and the fact that I'm a final year varsity student, I knew that an engagement was bound to happen. BUT, on the day, I did not see it coming. I was completely surprised! I'm a very organised person so we spoke about the ring a lot.
I've always wanted THIS ring. It's my absolute favorite.
He proposed to me on our farm while we went to feed our sheep-baby (Frikkie). It was everything I've ever deamed of.”
